In these times of money driven lifestyles receiving a coin that serves a different purpose is a wonderful experience.

A couple of weeks ago I was invited to the Schumacher College to tell the tales of my 6 month pilgrimage around England collecting and telling Transition Tales; Tales of Our Times.

I was going to tell my folk tales to staff and students of the Economics of Happiness short course, and the MSc students, invited by the Head of New Economics, Julie Richardson. Everything fit. Here was a gathering of new minded people, paradigm shifters, and nothing inspires paradign shifters more than sharing stories of the positive changes that are happening all around us every day, if you know where to look…

Meet Me and My Book… and the Buzz Tour

Well it’s been a while since I have been out and about and now I am all set to tell stories and poems and show off the beautiful hardback  limited edition of  Tales of Our Times.

.

 

On Wednesday 16th April I will be at Totnes library from 10.30-12.30 signing books and taking orders for a paperback version of the Tales.  (this book is likely to cost under £10). With me will be Eve Carnall of  the Buzz Tour, who will be setting out to walk from Totnes to Scotland on the 19th April. I will be walking the first 2 days with her; why not join us!

Then on Tuesday the 29th April I will performing  at the Barrel House, Totnes, as part of Transition Town Totnes’ Creative Salon evening.

Watch out too for Live Improvised Poetry and Music evenings coming up in the autumn. At the moment I am exploring doing a couple of recordings for BandCamp with various musicians;  Matt Calder of Sculpture Music for one. Let me know if you love to improvise and might want to perform with me.

Meanwhile I am getting ready to write my third book. I have been fundraising. There are just 27 days left to sponsor me.
